Essex College prides itself in providing its students with the very best resources. The resources are made up of a number of different areas and these are as follows:

• Library
Essex College is very pleased to offer its students a quiet and comfortable environment to learn and share ideas. The library has fully equipped computers with full internet access and printing facilities. It also boasts over 1000 books which are constantly increasing every semester. There is also a soft seating area in which students may relax.

• Computer Lab
We at Essex College have focused a lot of effort to make sure that our students have available to them the very latest technology and resources such as full internet access on all of our computers, as well as full Wi-Fi access for those students who like to make use of their own laptops and other portable media devices.

• Classrooms
Our class rooms are bright airy, comfortable and well equipped. Each of our rooms includes a computer. We use equipment such as white boards and flipcharts. We also have a digital projector so that students can have a more enjoyable and interactive learning experience.

• Help and Advice Centre
Our friendly and approachable staff are happy to offer assistance and advice for any problem or query any of our students may face. All our staff are willing to help with both academic and non-academic issues to the best of their ability. As the vast majority of our students are International, our staff are experienced in helping those students that need help ‘settling in’ once they have arrived to the UK. We understand that migrating to a different country can be very daunting for some individuals so please don’t suffer in silence! Feel free to come to our staff with anything that may be troubling you. They are there to help.

• Student Trips
Every year there are educational and social trips organised by the College to one or more destinations in Europe. Some of the recent trips have been to such locations as Switzerland, Amsterdam, Paris, Rome etc. The price for these trips has ranged from £100 to £250 and includes travel, insurance, breakfast and accommodation. The College organises group visas for travel to these destinations.

• Sports
Essex College organises sports events in Football and Cricket. We have also made arrangements with the local sports centre and sports grounds for our students to make use of these facilities.
